Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust individualized care plans
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced monitoring equipment
• Educate and support patients and their families during challenging moments
• Document care accurately and advocate for the best possible outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state license)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and medication titration
• Knowledge of critical care protocols and emergency interventions
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex patient needs
• Compassionate and clear communication with patients, families, and team members
• Comfortable using electronic health records and medical technology
