Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient care and procedures
• Operate the GBT machine efficiently to support advanced cleanings
• Manage two treatment columns to ensure smooth patient flow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Support patient comfort and provide education on oral hygiene

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Virginia
• Prior experience in dental assisting or hygiene assistance
• Familiarity with GBT machine operation is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy clinic
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Skill in operating GBT machine and managing treatment columns
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Excellent customer service and patient rapport skills
