Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist chairside during braces, aligner, and appliance procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
• Prepare patients for treatment, take and develop dental X-rays, and make impressions or digital scans as needed
• Sterilize and organize instruments and maintain a clean, orderly operatory to uphold the highest safety standards
• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and orthodontic care, answering questions with a warm smile
• Document treatment plans and updates in Denticon, keeping accurate patient records
• Collaborate with the care team to keep schedules flowing and help patients feel at ease from check-in to checkout

Qualifications

• Must hold current Orthodontic Certification
• Experience with Denticon practice management software is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work chairside and handle a variety of orthodontic procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, and procedures
• Proficiency with Denticon software for patient scheduling and records
• Understanding of dental radiography and infection control protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate chairside manner
