Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients, including cleanings, scaling, and preventive treatment
• Manage efficient 30-minute appointment slots to keep the schedule on track
• Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant who handles x-rays, exams, and room preparation
• Educate patients on oral health and proper hygiene practices
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized treatment environment
• Focus on patient comfort and positive experiences throughout each visit

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work a set afternoon schedule
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Comfortable working alongside a dental assistant

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-education skills
• Time management and the ability to stay on schedule
