Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and prophylaxis
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Sterilize instruments and ensure a clean clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with dental software and digital imaging

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and periodontal therapy
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skill in patient education and chairside manner
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Attention to detail in documentation and patient assessment
