Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide critical emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Triage patients and assess acuity levels
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Manage high acuity cases including trauma, sepsis, and stroke protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an emergency department
• Active Compact License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• TNCC CEN preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency department protocols
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC CEN
• Patient assessment and triage
• IV initiation and moderate sedation
• Trauma, sepsis, and stroke protocols
• Use of Meditech EMR
• EKG, Lucas, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, POC, IStat
