Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate bedside care that helps residents feel safe and respected
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, reporting changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols and physician orders
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to keep care plans on track
• Communicate with residents and families with warmth, patience, and clear updates

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of Vermont or compact eligibility
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination series or an approved religious or medical exemption
• Comfortable with an every weekend commitment for the full contract
• Reliable personal transportation, since local public transit is very limited
• Ability to bring state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
• All requested time off must be approved before the contract is finalized
