Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate bedside care to residents throughout the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and fellow nurses on individualized care plans
• Document assessments and interventions clearly in the electronic medical record
• Support residents and families with kindness, patience and clear communication
• Respond quickly and calmly to urgent patient needs during overnight hours
• Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus
• COVID-19 vaccination completed or a documented religious or medical exemption from your employer
• Ability to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
• Reliable, adaptable and ready to jump in when residents need you
