Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a warm assisted living setting
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, appetite, hydration and any changes in condition
• Serve as a friendly, reassuring presence during nighttime hours when residents need comfort most
• Collaborate closely with nurses and the care team to keep every resident safe and well supported
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests with patience and a smile
• Help maintain a clean, organized and welcoming environment throughout the unit

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license in New Hampshire or Vermont
• Current BLS certification
• Bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times while on site
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or a documented religious or medical exemption
• Prior experience in assisted living, skilled nursing or long term care is a wonderful plus
• A caring, dependable attitude and the ability to work independently overnight

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with resident mobility support and safe transfer techniques
• Solid understanding of infection control and standard precautions
• Sharp observation skills for spotting changes in resident condition
• Clear communication with nurses, therapists and family members
• Accurate and timely charting and documentation
• Patience, empathy and a genuine love for helping older adults thrive
