Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate bedside care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the supervising RN and care team
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other clinical treatments as ordered
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Support residents with daily living activities while protecting their dignity and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to keep care plans on track
• Communicate openly with residents and families to keep everyone informed and at ease

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
• Current BLS certification
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination series or a documented religious or medical exemption from your employer
• Prior experience in skilled nursing, long term care, or a similar clinical setting is a plus
• Comfortable working a rotating schedule
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
• A team player attitude with a genuine heart for resident care

• Wound care and infection control practices
• Long term care regulations and compliance basics
• Clear communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management and calm prioritization during busy shifts
