Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and care
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with daily living activities to ensure patient comfort
• Document patient care accurately and maintain updated records
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge plans
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and support staff to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Vermont or compact state
• Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• At least 1 year of LPN experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable with weekend shifts and a flexible schedule
• Own reliable transportation as public transit is limited in this area

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and dosage calculation skills
• Knowledge of patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
