Bill Rate: $32.00 - $34.00/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform and process mobile X-rays using portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment, then transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Bring portable X-ray equipment into nursing homes, health care facilities, and other sites to deliver clinically diagnostic images ordered by physicians.
  • Administer EKGs when needed and send results to cardiologists for timely interpretation.
  • Scan and submit exam paperwork and billing documents daily, keeping everything accurate and organized.
  • Stay in close communication with dispatch and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Build professional relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients through clear and courteous communication.
  • Keep the vehicle and X-ray equipment in top shape for safe and reliable mobile service.

Qualifications

  • Must hold ARRT Certification and maintain required state licenses (Delaware and Maryland) as well as health and operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license in the applicable state with a good driving record.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption documentation.
  • Experience with portable X-ray and EKG is a plus.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in X-ray imaging, including portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography
  • Ability to perform EKGs and transmit results
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, clients, and team members
  • Excellent documentation skills for accurate record-keeping
  • Knowledge of safety and operational protocols for mobile imaging
  • Certification from ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
