Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and assess patient conditions with keen attention to detail
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress thoroughly and maintain accurate electronic health records

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing is a plus
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and rhythm interpretation
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Ability to prioritize and manage care in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Compassionate and effective communication with patients, families, and team members
