Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI technical procedures with independent judgment and initiative
• Ensure comprehensive MRI safety for patients and staff
• Work at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures
• Collaborate with the Radiology team to provide diagnostic imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
• Maintain quality control and assurance, protecting patients and staff from harmful radiation

Qualifications

• Formal AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Previous experience in MRI in a hospital setting
• ARRT Registry required
• MRI Registry required
• CPR Certified required
• Venipuncture Certification (can be obtained within 3 months of hire)
• At least 2 recent supervisory references

Education

• Completion of a formal AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
