Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts (3x12 schedule, 36 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and condition changes
  • Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and care team members to create personalized care plans
  • Communicate with residents and their families to ensure comfort and understanding
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
  • Respond quickly to resident needs and emergencies with a calm, professional approach

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire or compact NLC where applicable
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet facility compliance requirements, including proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test as noted
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) documentation
  • Understanding of medication administration and dosage calculations
  • Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
  • Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations
