Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status closely
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to create effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and self-care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Previous med-surg or telemetry experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Comfortable with 12-hour night shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and care planning
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Wound care and patient education
• Accurate documentation and EHR proficiency
