Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process mobile X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, then transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment into nursing homes and healthcare facilities to perform physician-ordered exams
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Perform EKGs when needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and management to ensure smooth operations
• Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
• Maintain your vehicle and X-ray equipment to ensure readiness and reliability

Qualifications

• Active ARRT Certification is required
• Valid California state license and/or ARRT certification as required
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state with a clean driving record
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption with proper documentation
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs, with mechanical assistance available
• A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care at every facility you visit

Knowledge & Skills

• X-Ray and portable radiography expertise
• EKG acquisition and transmission
• Proficiency with Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Radiography (CR)
• Radiographic equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, clients, and team members
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments
