Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement personalized occupational therapy treatment plans that empower short-term and long-term residents to regain independence
  • Collaborate closely with licensed Occupational Therapists and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards to ensure safety and quality
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in Net Health, keeping the care team informed and aligned

Qualifications

  • Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license
  • BLS/BCLS certification required
  • SNF experience preferred, but mentorship is available for those with 0-1 year of experience
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and collaborative mindset with a passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of occupational therapy and rehabilitation therapy practices
  • Proficiency with Net Health documentation system
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing patient needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to compliance and patient-centered care
