Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with RNs and staff to ensure smooth case flow across 22-45 daily procedures
Support both open and minimally invasive cases, including Da Vinci XI robotic procedures
Float to Main OR for vascular cases when needed and help cover call rotations
Provide compassionate, high-quality care that directly impacts patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
BLS certification required
Prior CVOR or surgical tech experience preferred
Robotics experience is a plus but training is available
Ability to take 8-9 call shifts per month with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Comfortable working in fast-paced cardiac and vascular OR settings
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Ability to scrub and circulate as needed
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
