Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No double backs or nights required.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare sterile compounds that directly impact patient care and safety
Restock Pyxis machines across nursing units and procedural areas to keep medications accessible
Utilize Epic to ensure accurate medication tracking and documentation
Maintain code trays and kits so emergency teams have what they need when seconds count
Answer phones and medication messages to support seamless pharmacy operations

Qualifications

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
PTCB Certification required
Sterile compounding experience is a must
Epic experience strongly preferred
Pyxis experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Epic electronic health record system
Pyxis medication dispensing system
Inpatient pharmacy operations
Attention to detail and accuracy
