Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform advanced hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float to similar units when needed while delivering the same excellent standard of care
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that truly make a difference

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers welcome with a genuine passion for patient care
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Strong PCU, Med/Surg, and oncology nursing foundation
Comfort with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
EPIC EMR experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
Team-first attitude and a smile that lights up the unit
Willingness to learn and support colleagues in a culturally diverse environment
