Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Provide exceptional patient care during CABGs, craniotomies, joint replacements, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams across multiple specialties
Precept and mentor new staff members as needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support team needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven robotics experience with Mako and DaVinci systems
Strong cardiovascular circulating experience including CABGs
Ability to handle call responsibilities with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in circulating CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Proficiency across ortho trauma, total joints, and general surgery cases
Comfort with floating between two nearby campuses
Strong communication and precepting abilities
Reliable attendance and commitment to team success
