Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic monitoring to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units to support team needs
Deliver patient-centered care that respects diverse cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
Chemo certification strongly preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to titrate insulin and cardizem drips
Comfortable floating between PCU and med/surg units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
