Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Single-scrub complex cardiac procedures with precision and care
Support the main OR team by scrubbing ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and GYN cases on lighter cardiac days
Prepare sterile fields and instruments to keep every surgery running smoothly
Collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Maintain equipment and supplies so the OR stays ready for anything

Qualifications

Active Surgical Tech certification or license in California
Proven experience scrubbing cardiac cases independently
Comfortable rotating through multiple specialties including ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and GYN
Strong attention to detail and a calm presence under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR sterile technique and instrumentation
Ability to adapt quickly between cardiac and general OR cases
Clear communication with surgeons and the perioperative team
Solid understanding of robotics, vascular, and neuro setups
