Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Single-scrub complex cardiac procedures with precision and care
Seamlessly transition to scrub general, ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, and gyn cases when cardiac volume is low
Maintain sterile technique and anticipate surgeon needs throughout every procedure
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and the OR team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Surgical Technologist certification
Proven experience scrubbing cardiac cases independently
Ability to scrub multiple specialties including ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Ability to adapt quickly between cardiac and general OR cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Calm under pressure in high-acuity surgical environments
