Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with self-scheduling and block scheduling options

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular and open-heart procedures
Assist surgeons during intricate vascular, thoracic, and robotic surgeries
Maintain sterile technique while handling specialized surgical instruments
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
Float to general OR when needed to support the broader surgical team

Qualifications

Current CST certification required
BLS certification required
Colorado DORA license required
Open heart and endovascular experience strongly preferred
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiovascular and open-heart procedures
Strong understanding of vascular and endovascular techniques
Proficiency across multiple specialties including neuro, spine, and robotics
Excellent sterile technique and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in high-acuity surgical environments
