Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM with self-scheduling and block scheduling options

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for complex cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
Assist surgeons during open heart and vascular surgeries with precision and care
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Maintain sterile technique and manage surgical instruments throughout procedures
Float to general OR when needed to support the broader surgical services team

Qualifications

Current CST certification required
BLS certification required
CO DORA license required
Open heart and endovascular experience strongly preferred
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical protocols
Ability to work efficiently in high-acuity surgical environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between CVOR and general OR as needed
