Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients with compassion and expertise
• Develop individualized care plans that help each child reach their communication potential
• Deliver evidence-based therapy in a state-of-the-art children's hospital setting
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate holistic care
• Empower families with education and home strategies to support progress between sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation to ensure quality, continuity, and compliance

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of pediatric speech, language, and feeding disorders
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records and medical terminology
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
