Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal care to patients
• Take and interpret dental X-rays, identifying potential concerns
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort at all times
• Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining a safe clinical environment
• Document patient care accurately using dental software

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
• Skilled in dental radiography and X-ray safety
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Proficient in dental charting and patient records
• Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
