Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal care to patients
- Take and interpret dental X-rays, identifying potential concerns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort at all times
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining a safe clinical environment
- Document patient care accurately using dental software
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Knowledge & Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental hygiene procedures
- Skilled in dental radiography and X-ray safety
- Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
- Proficient in dental charting and patient records
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
