Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and scaling to maintain patient oral health
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Document patient records accurately
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New York
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with dental software is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental anatomy and hygiene best practices
• Proficiency with dental x-ray equipment
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Strong patient education skills
