Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide gentle, compassionate dental hygiene care to pediatric patients
• Perform dental cleanings and fluoride treatments
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene habits
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow strict sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric dentistry
• Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents
• A caring, patient-centered approach to dental care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency with digital X-rays and dental software
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Strong interpersonal skills and friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy pediatric dental office
