Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, gentle dental hygiene care to pediatric patients
• Perform dental cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and healthy habits
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with children and families
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, friendly office environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and using digital imaging
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Patient-centered approach with a gentle touch
• Ability to build rapport with young patients and ease dental anxiety
