Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient care during hygiene appointments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are properly sterilized
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Update and maintain accurate patient dental records
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort throughout their visit
• Support the dental team in delivering high-quality oral healthcare

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA or equivalent)
• Current CPR certification
• Experience assisting dental hygienists in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of dental instruments and aseptic techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental software for patient records
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Attention to detail in sterilization and infection control procedures
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
