Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist periodontists during surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or license in Maryland
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a dental office, preferably in periodontics
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in dental software and record keeping
- Knowledge of periodontic procedures and instruments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and infection control practices
