Speech Language Pathologist - Per Diem
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Start Date: 08-13-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6 hours with no break
Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and other therapists to support patient progress
- Document patient progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
- Provide education and guidance to caregivers on supporting speech and language development at home
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
