Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to critically ill adult and pediatric trauma patients in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center
Titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics to optimize patient outcomes
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor advanced equipment including CVPs, IABP, Impella, and ICP monitoring
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions for sepsis, stroke, ARDS, and cardiac arrest patients
Support patients through hypothermia protocols and rapid transfusion processes while maintaining the highest safety standards

Qualifications

Current RN license with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of ICU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a high-acuity environment
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Willingness to comply with artificial nail policy and pass skills exam during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and drip titration expertise
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen support
Comfort with advanced monitoring equipment and invasive lines
Ability to float across inpatient units while maintaining excellent patient care standards
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, adaptable attitude
