Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms to identify changes in patient status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with accuracy and confidence
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Respond quickly and effectively to cardiac emergencies and changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on heart health, treatment plans, and recovery

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Telemetry or acute care nursing experience is a plus, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
