End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac monitoring and drip titration for adult and geriatric patients
Monitor continuous EEG and respond to neurological changes with critical thinking
Collaborate with the care team to manage patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes diagnoses
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed to support seamless patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
Safe titration of Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Continuous EEG monitoring and stroke assessment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
