Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float to same-level PCU and MedSurg units to support patient care needs
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment with real-time training support

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
EPIC experience within the last 6 months is helpful but not required
Open to first-time travelers who meet the experience requirement

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for mixed PCU/MedSurg/Oncology unit
Comfort with chemotherapy administration and common drips
Familiarity with Alaris pumps, ventilators, and hemodynamic lines
Ability to work collaboratively in a culturally diverse environment
Willingness to float within the same level of care
