Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general procedures
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Ensure seamless patient care during CABGs, craniotomies, total joints, and trauma cases
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support patient needs
Precept new team members and share your expertise when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general surgery cases
Robotics experience with Mako and/or DaVinci systems preferred
Strong references and exceptional clinical skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating CABGs, craniotomies, total joints, and trauma procedures
Comfortable with both Mako (ortho) and DaVinci (general, urology, CV) robotic systems
Ability to handle open belly cases, lap choles, colectomies, and hernias
Experience with eyes, endo, and cysto procedures is a plus
Reliable, committed, and ready to jump in when the team needs you
