Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing exceptional patient care across both campuses
Manage and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
Care for post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and CABG patients on stepdown units
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes
Provide compassionate care to geriatric and orthopedic patients while maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills with ability to pass exam within two attempts
Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips independently

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Titration of critical care medications
Post-procedural care including groin site management
BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen management
Float pool flexibility across multiple units and campuses
