Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care across all facility areas including NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
• Deliver expert care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a Level II trauma center
• Operate advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow systems
• Collaborate closely with physicians to make critical clinical decisions
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Support patients and families through various stages of respiratory treatment and recovery

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT credential required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license required
• NICU experience required
• Ability to work independently and exercise clinical judgment
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, Hamilton C1, MR1, and V-60 Respironics equipment
• Experience across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and all facility areas
• Knowledge of neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care protocols
• Understanding of Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac patient populations
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities
