Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the emergency department
Manage ventilator setups and deliver life-supporting treatments with precision and care
Support Level 2 nursery patients using bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up
Perform ABG draws, BiPAP setups, nebulizer treatments, and assist during conscious sedation and cardioversion
Collaborate with a skilled lead therapist and 24/7 hospitalist team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong NICU experience with proven Level 2 nursery skills including bubble CPAP
Competent ventilator management and ability to assist with intubations

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 980 equipment
Philips V60 and Respironics Lumis BiPAP/CPAP systems
Neonatal and pediatric respiratory support
ABG sampling and analysis
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
