Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess recovery from anesthesia
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Educate families on post-operative care and next steps
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in PACU, critical care, or pediatrics is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of PACU nursing standards and best practices
• Skill in pediatric patient assessment and monitoring
• Ability to manage post-anesthesia complications
• Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
