Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4-10 hour days with rotating evening and weekend call

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for clients using ANA Standards of Nursing Practice
Provide leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards
Support the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area
Uphold the shared governance vision and nursing obligations that guide practice at Valley View Hospital

Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in Colorado, in good standing
Two years RN PACU experience required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association required
Flu vaccine required - no exemptions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and assessment skills in the post-anesthesia setting
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable managing rotating evening and weekend call responsibilities
Familiarity with Point Click EMR system
