Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care across all phases of the surgical journey
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Circulate in a variety of surgical specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency surgical cases, including on-call coverage
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Valid, current, full and unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state or territory
• At least 2-3 years of clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
• PALS and NIHSS within six months of hire
• CNOR within one year and TNCC within two years of hire
• Comfortable with on-call and emergency response

Education

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and critical thinking
• Perioperative nursing expertise
• OR circulation across multiple specialties
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• NIHSS, CNOR, TNCC
• Adaptability for on-call and emergency situations
