Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and ensure sterile field
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring safety and comfort
• Document patient care accurately and maintain high standards of nursing practice

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in operating room or perioperative nursing is a plus
• Compassionate and detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Understanding of pediatric anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
