Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert critical care to neuro patients in a 32-bed Level 1 Trauma ICU
Perform advanced neuro assessments and manage ICP monitoring with precision
Collaborate with a world-renowned team at Barrow Neurological Institute
Float between ICU and Telemetry units while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Support complex procedures including craniotomies, tumor removals, and spine surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a large hospital setting
Level 1 Trauma experience and EVD skills are essential
At least 3-6 months of recent travel nursing experience preferred
Comfortable floating to MS Tele/Tele floors and adapting to new units quickly

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro assessment and ICP monitoring expertise
Ventilator management and Cerner EMR proficiency
Ability to maintain sterile technique during critical procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
