Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Float between MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation units
Monitor and manage patients on Heparin drips and other medications within your skillset
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while maintaining the highest standards of care
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, cardiac events, neuro conditions, and general medicine needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Prior neuro experience preferred
Alaris pump and EPIC experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and work flexible schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical care
Comfortable floating between multiple units and adapting to varying patient acuities
Experience with tele monitoring and reading strips
Ability to titrate Heparin drips safely and effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
