Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain strength and mobility
Collaborate with the care team during conferences and family training sessions
Recommend adaptive devices and equipment to support recovery
Guide patients through safe discharge planning and home programs

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in Florida
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience
Willingness to work on the IRF unit
Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills

Knowledge & Skills

Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
Discharge planning expertise
Experience with stroke and neuro patients is a plus
Comfortable working in both IRF and acute care settings
Team-oriented and collaborative approach
